    A Crisis of confidence is occuring because there is a lack of credible leadership, do the leader really have the courage or conviction to make the tough decision (when the going gets tough the tough gets going)?

    There is serious doubt about their willingness to do so. With this void the responsibility for steering a course through the chaos lies more and more with business leaders.

    But how ready and prepared is business and their leaders to take on this leadership role?

    This leadership role requires an understanding of the risk (both threats and opportunities) that the business faces (Internally and Externally) and their subsequent impact (threat) and promotion (opportunity).

    W ithout strong leadership and a clear understanding and application of risk management, the chance of survival for business is minimal. Without business leadership political leadership is non-existent
