“The Impact of Culture on Distributed Agile”

    —————————————————————–
    Abstract:
    —————————————————————–
“In developed nations, finding qualified Software Professionals is a challenge. In India we have abundance of IT talent. However there are many preconceptions about working with Indian Software Companies like quality deficit, communication challenges to name a few. Why is culture so important? If your company culture is not strong enough then the country’s preconceptions shine. However if your company culture is strong enough then it will outshine the country’s preconceptions.

Everybody understands Agile Software development is more about people and their behaviour than it is just about following mechanics of an Agile Framework. And our behaviour makes us part of a certain group – call it your company culture. Does your culture include people, practices, and communication? Hiring the best talent, give them the autonomy, engineering excellence, travelling often, etc.”
